Paco Joined the military when he was seventeen years old, looking for direction in life. He wanted more in life than bagging groceries at a supermarket. He says it was the best decision that he ever made. Paco went to front line combat and experienced the real life of a soldier. That experience shaped him into the fine and humble young man he is today. On the field brave Paco was a "tanker", he crewed for M1 Abrams battle tanks and Striker combat vehicles. Paco saw a lot of action during his deployment, and learned to take the good with the bad. The good being the great comraderie between himself and other soldiers, the bad being watching his brothers in arms die at the hands of the enemy. Paco says that most of his time spent in Iraq was doing humanitarian work and his mission was to aid the Iraqi people in taking their country back. And for that honorable perspective on life, we salute you Pedro.
